How two families searching for better options created the home they wished existed.
The Search That Started It All
Shawn and Alex were looking for a place for their moms to live in the St. Augustine area. They toured options, asked around, and had dozens of conversations—only to realize the same thing kept coming up.
Nothing fit.
Their moms didn't need assisted living. But living alone (or in a random rental) didn't feel safe, social, or sustainable either. One day, Shawn and Alex met and quickly realized they were solving the exact same problem—just from different family situations.
So they decided to build the option they wished existed.
The Gap We're Filling
Marvento Homes was created for that "in-between" moment families face every day: when a loved one still wants independence, but everyone feels better knowing there's community, comfort, and support built into daily life.
Living Alone or Renting a Room
It can look affordable on paper, but it often comes with real tradeoffs:
